  • Publication number: 20240396950
Abstract: Methods and systems for telephony traffic analysis and resource optimization are described herein. A computing device of a telephony network, such as a load balancer, may receive a request for connecting a call originating from outside the telephony network. Based on characteristics of the request, such as an originating call number, a destination call number, and the like, the computing device may determine a probability the call request may be completed by the telephony network. If the probability falls below a predefined threshold, the computing device may reject the call request. Thus, the call request may not be routed through the telephony network for connection attempts. This may save network resources from unnecessary waste, and may free the network to route calls with a higher chance of successful connections.

  • Publication number: 20190161978
Abstract: A system for constructing a deck using engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, structural composite lumber (SCL). Deck boards may be formed from a plurality of veneer layers treated with fire protection treatments, preservatives and/or other chemical treatments, which may be specific to a particular veneer layer, and assembled with adhesives binding the layers together in a stack, resulting in a deck board with unique properties in aggregate. The veneer layers directly adjacent to the two outer face layers may be positioned so that the direction of the wood grain is cross-directional to the direction of the wood grain in the surface layers. The boards are also subject to a multi-layer surface finishing treatment with aesthetic components and a protective component.

  • Publication number: 20190055751
Abstract: A system for constructing a fence using engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, oriented-strand board (OSB), fiber strand, or laminated strand lumber. A plurality of fence sections extends between posts, with each fence section including a combination of one or more engineered wood panels or boards supported by top and bottom engineered boards, all of which may be weather-resistant, fungus resistant, insect resistant, or combinations thereof. A fence section has a top and bottom support boards with channels, with a center section forming a vertical panel or a plurality of vertically aligned boards extending between the top and bottom support boards, with the ends of the center section panel or boards fitting securely within the channels.

  • Publication number: 20160359179
Abstract: A fluid array, comprises: (a) a fluid input header, (b) a fluid output header, and (c) a plurality of (preferably at least 26) parallel fluid channels, each of said fluid channels connected to both said fluid input header and said fluid output header in a Z-array configuration. Methods of using the same and fuel cells comprising such arrays are also described, along with methods of optimizing flow therein.

  • Publication number: 20120090156
Abstract: A construction system for joining a plurality of CD cases comprising a plurality of component clips, wherein each component clip defines a front recess formed by a front upper arm, a front lower arm and a front support back connecting the two front arms, wherein the front arms are generally parallel; and wherein each clip further defines a groove on each of the two front arms adjacent to the support back within the front recess. A method of using a component clip comprising the steps of orienting the component clip and a CD case such that the CD case is adjacent but not within a first recess; and sliding the CD case into the first recess so that at least one lip on the CD case is received in one of the grooves in two opposing arms.

  • Patent number: 7987864
Abstract: Deployable structures and methods for assembling the same including a structural mechanism defining a columnar space comprising a plurality of structural members, a plurality of couplings and a plurality of tension lines, wherein each of the couplings interconnects three of the structural members and each of the tension lines interconnects one of the couplings and one of the structural members. Each of the tension lines interconnects one of the couplings and an end of one of the structural members not interconnected with one of the couplings. A columnar space, devoid of any structural members, is centrally located within the structural mechanism. Each of the couplings interconnects two of three structural members such that they are substantially aligned along their respective longitudinal axes and the third of the three structural members is interconnected such that its longitudinal axis is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the other two structural members.

  • Publication number: 20040032064
Abstract: A pneumatic equipment mount comprises a base plate and an annular outer case extending upwardly from the base plate. The annular outer case has opposing upper and lower case ends, the lower case end being closed by the base plate. The outer case comprises a case wall defining a cylindrical case inner surface. The pneumatic equipment mount also comprises a load platform comprising a substantially circular upper plate and a cylindrical mounting wall. The cylindrical mounting wall has a cylindrical mounting wall outer surface and is coaxially mounted to the upper plate. The cylindrical mounting wall is mounted adjacent the outer circumference of the upper plate so that the cylindrical mounting wall extends downwardly therefrom.
