The bottom end may be at least partially open and include a first portion of a coupling mechanism and a retaining portion. The removable basket may be sized to be received within the top end of the hollow cylinder. The removable basket may be configured to support coffee grounds or tea leaves. The cup may releasably couple to the first portion of the coupling mechanism of the bottom end of the hollow cylinder. The pump may be configured to pump air from the cup out the opening so as to force a fluid from the hollow cylinder through the basket and into the cup.
