    Abstract: The present invention provides a system implemented by a processor of a mobile device. The system includes a receiver module for receiving a signal from a near field communication (NFC) tag. The system also includes an interface module for processing the signal and identifying at least one action to be performed, and an action module for performing the at least one action. A method is provided for controlling a mobile device using an NFC system. The method includes receiving at a receiver of the mobile device a signal from an NFC tag and identifying from the signal at least one action to be performed. The method also includes performing the at least one action. A non-transitory computer readable medium having recorded thereon a program is provided. The program causes a computer to perform a method for controlling a mobile device using an NFC system.
