Abstract: A system and method for calibrating a forward-facing camera or sensor of a vehicle is provided. The system includes a calibration tool, the position of which can be adjusted on the vehicle to align a presentation screen of the calibration tool with the vehicle camera. A processor performs a method to determine the size and position of a calibration target to be displayed on the presentation screen, based on a position of the calibration tool relative to the vehicle camera and generates a calibration target image to be digitally transmitted to the presentation screen. The presentation screen displays the calibration target image at an appropriate height, angle, and distance from the camera or sensor being calibrated.

  • Publication number: 20210261012
Abstract: A wireless electric vehicle charging system comprises base-side equipment for generating a magnetic field and vehicle-side equipment for receiving energy via the magnetic field to supply power to a vehicle-driving battery. Monitoring circuitry monitors one or more of voltage, current, or phase associated with the base-side equipment and halts generation of the magnetic field in response to a change in the voltage, current, or phase associated with the operation of the base-side equipment that indicates a fault condition at the vehicle-side equipment, which may include a loss of power or disconnection of a battery. Based on detection of the change, the monitoring circuitry can halt generation of the magnetic field to prevent damage at the vehicle-side equipment.

Abstract: A fluid injector includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a fluid path from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. An actuator unit is disposed within the fluid injector. A valve assembly operatively couples to the actuator unit. A spacer member is disposed between a downstream end portion of the actuator unit and a portion of the valve assembly, the spacer member constructed from a compressible, resilient material so as to compress due to expansion forces from fluid in the fluid injector freezing, and to expand when frozen fluid in the fluid injector melts. The spacer member occupies a space in the fluid path of the fluid injector.

  • Patent number: 10984071
Abstract: A system for managing data content and data content relationships through resource efficient process structures for cloud and network environments includes a Clode core. The Clode core creates an object/display/process based on a defined order of processes determined by the object's tags and/or relationships to a function map and/or other objects in the system. This is used in Clode tag modules such as ‘clode:autopublish’ to create a data publication on the server, by ‘clode:autosubscribe’ to make client's automatically subscribe to data related to the tagged object, and by ‘clode:surface’ to manage an object on a display; just to name a few use cases. Tags can then be used to manage third party environments such as a docker container that would be classified as having the tag ‘on’, but when removed could cause the container to shut off. Tag management functions could also change the classifications as to say in the previous example to cause a tag to be added called ‘off’.
