  • Publication number: 20240299827
Abstract: A field may include a plurality of walls segments, stanchions, one or more goals, and one or more doors. A net may encompass at least a portion of a perimeter of a playing field of the field. The net may include a roof portion. An end of the roof portion includes a first end adjacent a base line and a second end a distance into the playing field. The second end of the roof portion is attached to two stanchions. A cable is attached between a winch it attached to the end of a main support pole of the two stanchions connected to the second end of the roof portion. The winch applies a force to the end of the main poles to prevent the main poles from bending inwards towards the playing field.

  • Patent number: 12065787
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a turf trim strip. The apparatus includes a first panel having first top and bottom surfaces, first and second edges, and first and second ends and a second panel having a second top and bottom surfaces, third and fourth edges, and third and fourth ends. The second top surface is oriented substantially perpendicular to the first top surface and the second edge is adjacent to the third edge. The apparatus includes a plurality of turf tabs that have a first position substantially parallel to the first top surface and a second position that is at an acute angle with respect to the first top surface. In the second position, the plurality of turf tabs extends towards the second top surface and may secure turf to the strip. A plurality of wall tabs may be used with fasteners to connect the apparatus to a wall.

  • Patent number: 12064678
Abstract: A modular field that includes a plurality of coplanar wall segments connected together by a plurality of stanchions and a plurality of corner stanchions to connect together wall segments oriented perpendicular to each other. The size of the modular field may be varied by the number and/or size of wall segments. Lights may be connected to the corner stanchions. One or more doors to allow ingress into the modular field may be connected to adjacent wall segments by the stanchions. Goals may be connected to wall segments at opposite sides of the modular field by the stanchions. The stanchions may include a base plate, a main support pole connected to the base plate, a channel receptacle connected to the base plate, a rear plate connected to the main support pole, a frame connected to the rear plate, a front plate, and a clamp connected to the main support pole.

  • Publication number: 20240181322
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for an automated referee and video system. The system includes a playing field enclosed by walls, one or more doors, and two goals. The system includes a plurality of cameras positioned around the playing field. The system includes a computer-based controller in communication with the cameras. The controller includes a set of computer-based instructions to cause at least one processor to carry out functions associated with one or more modules. A ball detection module tracks a ball on the playing field. An event detection module detects specified events that occur during games. An artificial intelligence (AI) referee module to determine whether a penalty has occurred during a game. The AI referee module may be trained using machine learning. The system may include light emitting diode (LED) wall lights or LED tiles to emit light upon the detection of a specified event and/or a penalty.

  • Publication number: 20240161782
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for creating video clips of a game played on a playing field enclosed by walls, door(s), and two goals. The system includes a plurality of cameras positioned around the playing field. The system includes one or more QR codes. The system includes a computer-based controller in communication with the cameras. The controller comprises a set of computer-based instructions to cause at least one processor to carry out functions associated with one or more modules. The system includes a ball detection module that controls the cameras to track a ball on the playing field to create video of a game. The system includes an event detection module configured to detect specified events that occur during games. The system includes a highlight module that creates video clips from the video of games played. The video clips correspond to specified events detected by the event detection module.

  • Publication number: 20240117652
Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods for securing a net. The system includes a wall cap having an upper cavity and a lower cavity and a gap that provides access to the upper cavity. A wall is positioned within the lower cavity. A portion of a net is positioned within the upper cavity of the wall cap. A rod positioned within the upper cavity of the wall cap is intertwined through the portion of the net positioned within the upper cavity of the wall cap. The rod may have an outer diameter that prevents the rod from moving through the gap in the wall cap. A cable is wrapped around the rod along the length of the wall cap. Portions of the cable are positioned above the rod along its length and portions of the cable are positioned through the wall and the wall cab below the rod.
