  • Publication number: 20240285902
Abstract: The disclosed technology can include a catheter braid that can comprise a first region, which can comprise a plurality of wire segments arranged in a first weave pattern, and a second region, which can have a plurality of wire segments arranged in a second weave pattern. The first weave pattern can transition to the second weave pattern at a first transitional point, which can be disposed at an intersection of the first region and the second region. The first transitional point can be where at least one wire of the plurality of wires of the first region can be removed from the second region. The catheter braid can comprise a uniform cross section area across a majority of the first region and a majority of the second region.

  • Patent number: 11998213
Abstract: An embolic implant includes a detachment feature configured to engage and be released from a delivery member's engagement system. The engagement system can include a loop wire extending through an opening of the detachment feature a pull wire extending through the loop wire to secure the detachment feature to a delivery tube of the delivery member. The detachment feature can include a distal extension configured to engage a distal end of the pull wire to inhibit the pull wire from moving distally into the implant. The detachment feature can also include a sleeve to align the pull wire to the distal extension and/or provide a friction force against the pull wire to inhibit longitudinal movement of the distal end of the pull wire.

  • Publication number: 20230233211
Abstract: A delivery and detachment system for an implantable intravascular treatment device including a proximal inner tube telescopically receivable and axially slidable in a proximal direction within the lumen of the outer delivery tube. Specifically, the proximal inner tube comprises a proximal section and a distal section having different outer diameters forming a transition, wherein the distal section includes two distal section components connected by an axially separable region. When the axially separable region is axially separated: (i) the proximal section of the proximal inner tube is slidable in a proximal direction through the stopping member until the transition in the outer diameter of the first distal section component attached thereto engages a stopping member prohibiting axial movement in the proximal direction; and (ii) the restricting element maintaining in position the second distal section component within the outer delivery tube.
