  • Patent number: 9867460
Abstract: An adjustable lap table, being collapsible, rotatable, and adjustable in three dimensions includes: a base, generally planar in shape and configured for placement upon a user's lap or other flat surface without any additional mounting hardware; a platform generally planar in shape and configured for receipt of an electronic device or book, and configured for use at a plurality of angles, orientations, and rotations relative to the base of the lap table; and an adjustment column assembly disposed between the base and the platform and coupled to the base and the platform, thereby to provide a means to adjust the lap table in three dimensions.

  • Patent number: 9177097
Abstract: A method and apparatus for verifying routing of a number of signal lines in an aircraft. A number of pathways through a volume is identified in the aircraft for a desired routing of the number of signal lines using a preferred systems layout for the aircraft. A determination is made as to whether a designed routing of the number of signal lines in a design of the aircraft is within the number of pathways through the volume for the desired routing of the number of signal lines. The number of signal lines is identified as having the desired routing in response to a determination that the designed routing is within the number of pathways through the volume.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 8, 2012
Date of Patent: November 3, 2015
    Assignee: THE BOEING COMPANY
Inventors: Michael Patrick Sciarra, Alfredo Zamora Campos, Brent Louis Hadley, Patrick Eames, Joshua M. Taylor
