Abstract: Systems and methods for creating video content, or Stories, from media captured at an event are disclosed. An Event can be defined using both location parameters (e.g. geofences or geographical envelopes) and temporal windows or envelopes. Media elements, such as images or video clips, captured at the Event (e.g. within the geographical and temporal Event envelopes) can be verified or filtered based on the defined Event, and provided to one or more users to create an EventStory that includes a sequence of selected media elements, Audio and/or video narration can be added to the sequenced EventStory. Other users can be granted permission to create or modify an EventStory corresponding to a defined Event. The finalized EventStory can be shared, either through a social media application/platform or by being stored in a conventional video format.
