    Abstract: A perineal heating pad includes a central portion and two opposing end portions. The central portion includes a heating element disposed on or within the heating pad and the opposing ends may include one or more tabs extending outward from the central portion. A non-stick adhesive is used to secure the heating pad to the perineal body tissue of the patient and a controller supplies heat to the heating element and maintains the perineal tissue of a patient at a desired temperature.
