  • Publication number: 20250128394
Abstract: A power tool includes a housing having a working end and a side (e.g., back side) separate from the working end, and a user interface supported by the housing and positioned on the side of the housing. The power tool can also include one or more protrusions defined by the housing proximate to the user interface and extending away from the housing for protecting the user interface from an impact on the side of the housing. A removable user interface guard for the power tool includes a body formed of an impact resistant material for protecting the user interface of the power tool from an impact at the side of the power tool, and a retention feature on the body configured to mate with a corresponding feature on the housing of the power tool to removably secure the body to the side of the housing over the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20250125022
Abstract: A system and method for identifying a plurality of candidates for one or more clinical trials comprising receiving health related data associated with each of the plurality of candidates, applying a predictive risk model to the health related data and for generating and assigning a risk score to each of the plurality of candidates based on a selected condition and then ranking each of the plurality of candidates based on the risk score, and generating a similarity score for each of the candidates having an assigned risk score higher than the threshold risk score with a matching machine learning technique. The similarity score is indicative of a similarity between each of the plurality of candidates and one or more participants in the one or more clinical trials.

  • Publication number: 20250017137
Abstract: A rake assembly is provided with a base with a handle coupling, sized to extend laterally from the coupling. A plurality of tines extends from the base, away from the coupling. The plurality of tines is parallel and curved at distal ends of the tines and have a width that is greater than a thickness of the tines. The plurality of tines is spaced apart laterally by a spacing that is less than the width of the tines as a plurality of gaps. A length of the gaps is sequentially shortened laterally away from the coupling. A proximal end of the tines is coplanar or tangent to the base. A sidewall extends from a proximal end of the base and from lateral sides of the base, to collectively provide a shovel concavity with the base and the plurality of tines.

  • Patent number: 11980627
Abstract: There are disclosed therapies and preventions of prion protein complex infections. The transcription of the amyloid precursor protein gene and PrP gene and the RNA transcript are the rate-limiting steps and are most susceptible for blockage and control of the process of amyloid protein formation and PrPsc formation. Thus, therapies and prevention regimes for prion protein complex infections interrupt this process at the level of DNA transcription to RNA, RNA transport to the mitochondrion for protein synthesis and deposition in the cerebral cortex neurons.
