The operations include transmitting a utilization signal including a utilization rate of the appliance. The operations include obtaining a control signal based on an operation schedule. Abstract: A dryer appliance and a method of operating the dryer for a warming operation is provided. The dryer appliance includes an air handler to urge the flow of air through a chamber rotatably mounted in a cabinet and a heating assembly for heating the flow of air. A controller controls the heating assembly and the air handler to initiate a warming operation for an article in the chamber. The warming operation includes receiving input parameters for a warming operation and determining a duration of the warming operation from the input parameters. Based on the input parameters and duration of the warming operation a start time is determined and the warming operation is initiated at the determined start time.

Abstract: A method of operating a laundry treatment appliance includes detecting a power interruption between a primary power source and the laundry treatment appliance; determining an operational status of the laundry treatment appliance after detecting the power interruption, the operational status including a current cycle of the laundry treatment appliance; analyzing a plurality of operating conditions of the current cycle; activating a secondary power source to the laundry treatment appliance based on analyzing the plurality of operating conditions of the current cycle; and implementing a responsive action in response to activating the secondary power source to the laundry treatment appliance, the responsive action including altering at least one of the plurality of operating conditions of the current cycle.

The present disclosure further includes allowing a minimum relay on time to elapse after verifying that the relay is closed. The present disclosure also includes determining a temperature gradient of the monitored temperature based on a change in the monitored temperature over the minimum relay on time. The present disclosure further includes detecting a nuisance trip because the determined temperature gradient is negative.
