  • Publication number: 20230076554
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes computer-executable instructions that cause one or more processing units to acquire an airport map that includes a plurality of edge data structures. Each of the edge data structures includes a plurality of waypoints and membership data that indicates a location at an airport. The instructions further cause the one or more processing units to receive a starting location and a starting heading of an aircraft at the airport, determine a destination location and a destination heading for the aircraft at the airport, and generate a taxiing path plan for the aircraft based on the airport map, the starting location, the starting heading, the destination location, and the destination heading. The taxiing path plan includes a sequence of waypoints from the edge data structures. The instructions further cause the one or more processing units to send the taxiing path plan to the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20230064866
Abstract: A method includes generating, in a normal mode, an aircraft power setpoint and an aircraft pitch setpoint based on a desired airspeed setpoint and a desired altitude setpoint. The method includes transitioning from the normal mode to an underpower mode when the aircraft is unable to maintain the desired airspeed setpoint. The method includes setting, in the underpower mode, the aircraft power setpoint to a full power setting, generating, in the underpower mode, the aircraft pitch setpoint based on the desired altitude setpoint, and transitioning from the underpower mode to an underspeed mode when the aircraft airspeed is less than an airspeed threshold value while the aircraft power setpoint is set to the full power setting. The method includes maintaining, in the underspeed mode, the aircraft power setpoint at the full power setting and generating, in the underspeed mode, the aircraft pitch setpoint based on the desired airspeed setpoint.

  • Publication number: 20220334595
Abstract: An aircraft control system includes a longitudinal control module, an engine torque control module, and an actuator control system. The longitudinal control module is configured to generate a desired torque value and a desired elevator position value for an aircraft based on a desired airspeed value, a desired altitude value, an actual airspeed value, and an actual altitude value. The engine torque control module is configured to generate a desired power lever position value based on the desired torque value and a measured engine torque value that indicates a measured engine torque in the aircraft. The actuator control system is configured to generate a power lever position command and an elevator position command for the aircraft based on the desired power lever position value and the desired elevator position value.
