    Abstract: A method and apparatus for releasing fragrance. An embodiment of the apparatus includes a first scented layer that releases a first portion of fragrance and a second scented layer adjacent to the first layer that releases a second portion of fragrance. The second portion of fragrance is released after the first portion of fragrance is released. Exemplary applications include air fresheners and fragrance samplers.
