  • Patent number: 11535483
Abstract: A pawl-less retractable comprises an inner frame with a drum-sperrad assembly mounted to the inner frame between side members of the frame to rotate relative to the frame and a stop cap which, during a fall, engages said drum-sperrad assembly to prevent further rotation of said drum. The inner frame can be pivotally mounted to the stop cap such that the inner frame and the drum-sperrad assembly pivot relative to the step cap, or the stop cap can pivot relative to the drum-sperrad assembly. The stop cap comprises a central body, a leading wing extending from a first side of the central body and a trailing wing extending from a second side of the central body opposite said first side. In use, the drum-sperrad assembly and the stop cap pivot relative to each other between an unlocked position in which the teeth of the sperrad are inside of an engagement zone circle and a locked position in which the teeth are outside of the engagement zone circle.

  • Patent number: 11524189
Abstract: A connector for use with a fall protection system includes a body, a gate, and a double action locking mechanism. The body includes a spine and two arms extending from the spine to form a gate opening, the arms defining axially aligned first and second apertures respectively. The gate is adapted and configured to move axially through the first and second apertures. In an open position, the gate extends through the first aperture, but a forward end of the gate is spaced rearwardly of the second aperture. In a closed position, the gate extends through the first aperture and the second aperture. The double action locking mechanism is adapted and configured to require application of two distinct and different forces to unlock the locking mechanism and permit the gate to move to the open position.

  • Publication number: 20220381347
Abstract: A seal assembly for a rotatable shaft assembly includes a seal housing and each of a main seal and a dust seal extending circumferentially around a seal housing center axis. The dust seal includes a radially inward dust seal lip, and is formed by a sealing layer having a plurality of ventilation openings formed therein, and a debris-blocking filter layer attached to the sealing layer and positioned across the ventilation openings. The main seal and dust seal assist in maintaining lubricating oil within a seal cavity. The dust seal prevents entry of debris whilst ventilating the seal cavity to limit carbonization of oil on seal assembly components. In an implementation the seal assembly is part of a rotatable crankshaft assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220381299
Abstract: A swivel connector for a retractable assembly comprises a body defining a hollow portion, an indicator block received within the hollow portion of the body and sized to be movable within the body, a support upon which the indicator block rests, the support being movable relative to the body, and a yoke to which a lifeline can be connected, the yoke being connected to the support. The yoke and support move relative to the hollow portion of the body in unison, such that movement of the yoke and body relative to each other will cause the indicator block to move relative to the body between a first position and a second position, and wherein the indicator block is visible when in at least one of said first and second positions, to indicate that the retractable has been subject to a fall.

Abstract: For detecting and resolving bad audio during conferencing, methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed. One apparatus includes a processor and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The processor detects bad audio for a conference call, the conference call involving a plurality of participants. The processor switches a first input stream to an analysis mode, where the bad audio corresponds to a first one of a plurality of input streams, the first input stream associated with a first participant. The processor sends a conference output channel to the first participant while in the analysis mode and concurrently analyzes the first input stream using a plurality of audio tools while in the analysis mode. • Publication number: 20220253316
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for duplicate detection for register renaming. For example, a method includes checking a map table for duplicates of a first physical register, wherein the map table stores entries that each map an architectural register of an instruction set architecture to a physical register of a microarchitecture and a duplicate is two or more architectural registers that are mapped to a same physical register; and, responsive to a duplicate of the first physical register in the map table, preventing the first physical register from being added to a free list upon retirement of an instruction that renames an architectural register that was previously mapped to the first physical register to a different physical register, wherein the free list stores entries that indicate which physical registers are available for renaming.

  • Patent number: 11370272
Abstract: A vehicle climate control system includes a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system where condensate from the system is conveyed to a misting device disposed at an air-conditioned outlet in the cabin of the vehicle. The misting device can be arranged at the exit of the air-conditioned outlet such that conditioned air is conveyed by the HVAC ducting and mixes with the mist generated by the misting device at the air-conditioned outlet. The mist may be scented using an injection device that pumps a fragrant fluid into the misting device along with the condensate. Prior to conveying the condensate to the misting device, the condensate may be pumped through bacteria and sediment filter media providing a clean supply of condensate to the misting device. Positioning the misting device at the air-conditioned outlet helps prevent mold or debris from being trapped in the HVAC system or ducting.
