  • Patent number: 12292077
Abstract: An assembly and a method are provided for manufacturing a joined assembly. A method for manufacturing includes fitting together and datuming a beam and a node, wherein at least one of the beam and the node is formed with an aperture, and wherein a cylindrical interface is formed between the beam and node. Further, the method includes advancing a mechanical fastener through the aperture to temporarily hold the beam and the node in an engagement. Also, the method includes injecting a structural adhesive into the cylindrical interface between the beam and the node. The method includes final joining the beam and the node by curing the structural adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20240353815
Abstract: Automatic methods and robotic system for processing workpieces are provided. A method for locally re-shaping a moldable workpiece includes receiving data in an input module indicating a present form of the workpiece; providing a robot configured to pass the workpiece through a machine; determining, with a control module, a path of the robot based on the present form of the workpiece and a target form of the workpiece; and performing a finishing process by passing, with the robot, the workpiece through the machine along the path, wherein the machine re-shapes the workpiece with the target form.

  • Patent number: 11303443
Abstract: A method of performing a blockchain transaction includes partitioning a private key of an account into a first part, a second part, and a third part, using a processor. The method further includes delivering the first part to a user of the account via a network. The method further includes storing the second part on a first server in association with information about the end-user. The method further includes receiving the first part from the user via the network. The method further includes reconstructing the private key of the account using the first part and the second part. The method further includes performing the blockchain transaction using the account and the reconstructed private key.

  • Patent number: 10481577
Abstract: A method for object distance detection and focal positioning in relation thereto. The method comprising the steps of: (a) identifying (via a computing device) a desired distance among a plurality of designated sites on an object; (b) adjusting a focus (via an autofocus device) onto the plurality of designated sites; (c) calculating (via an image recognition module) the actual distance among the plurality of designated sites; (d) determining (via the image recognition module) if error exist between the actual distance and the desired distance; and (e) wherein (in no particular order) repeating the steps of (b), (c), and (d) until no substantial error exists between the actual distance and the desired distance.
