  • Patent number: 12182789
Abstract: A computing system (100) that includes at least one microapp (202) and a container application (204) configured to receive an application output from the microapp(s) (202,602) via an application programming interface. The computing system (100) can include at least one processor (112,132) and at least one tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor (112,132), cause the at least one processor (112,132) to perform operations. The operations can include providing, for display within a first panel (304) in a user interface (306), a navigation bar (302) based on data received from the container application (204); receiving, at the container application (204), the application output from the at least one microapp (202) via the application programming interface; and providing, for display within a second panel in the user interface (306), data describing the application output.

  • Patent number: 10665515
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe binning and placement techniques for assembling a multi-die device to improve yield when a customer requests a high performance feature from the device. For example, the multi-die device may include multiple dies that are interconnected to form a single device or package. In one embodiment, the multiple dies are the same semiconductor die (e.g., have the same circuit layout) which are disposed on a common interposer or stacked on each other. The multi-die device can then be attached to a printed circuit board (PCB). Although the dies in the multi-die device may each include the same feature (e.g., a PCIe interface, SerDes interface, transmitter, memory interface, etc.), the multi-die device is assembled so that not all of the dies have a feature that satisfies the high performance requested by the customer. That is, at least one of the die includes a lower performance feature.

  • Publication number: 20180179274
Abstract: The present invention provides a protein comprising a mutated LAIR-1 fragment, which broadly binds to erythrocytes infected with Plasmodium falciparum. The protein comprising the mutated LAIR-1 fragment may be useful in the prevention and/or treatment of malaria. The present invention furthermore provides a nucleic acid encoding a mutated LAIR-1 fragment, a vector comprising such a nucleic acid as well as a respective pharmaceutical composition.

  • Patent number: 8107658
Abstract: Hearing instruments and in particular hearing aids whose signal processing can be adjusted by the user are to be returned to a defined, individual state in a more convenient manner. For this purpose it is provided that at least one individual, current parameter value for ongoing operation of the hearing instrument is automatically stored in a first memory device. The at least one individual, current parameter value can also be stored manually or automatically in a second memory device. If the user wishes to revert to an earlier setting, he can manually reset the at least one parameter of the hearing instrument to the parameter value stored in the second memory device by actuating a button.

  • Publication number: 20080123887
Abstract: The electromagnetic compatibility of hearing apparatuses and in particular hearing devices is to be improved. To this end, provision is made to use a plastic-based absorbent material with metal particles in the hearing apparatus. The absorbent material absorbs the electromagnetic radiation and converts it into heat. In particular, mounting elements for microphones and receivers can be produced from the absorbent material. This multiple functionality results in additional space savings.

  • Publication number: 20080002848
Abstract: There is described a hearing device, in which a hearing facility is arranged, with the hearing device comprising a connecting piece, which is connected to the hearing facility by way of a hearing tube in order to convey an acoustic signal and/or acoustic signals generated by the hearing facility to an acoustic output of the hearing device, with the hearing tube and the connecting piece being designed as a push fit fitting and being essentially acoustically tight with one another, with the hearing tube and/or the connecting piece comprising at least one projection, which is designed such that it holds the hearing tube in place on the connecting piece.

  • Publication number: 20070165889
Abstract: It is intended to be able to manufacture multiple microphones for realizing highly reliable directional microphones for hearing apparatuses, and in particular for hearing devices, in a simpler manner. To this end, provision is made to develop at least two silicon microphones and at least two impedance converters connected thereto on one single chip, thereby producing an integrated circuit. In particular, twin and triplet microphones can be realized for hearing devices, which exhibit an increased reliability and a reduced sensitivity to environmental influences. Special advantages result for the one chip multiple microphones when they are designed as SMD assemblies.
