    Abstract: A novel structured random sample consensus protocol to greatly improve blockchain and distributed ledger technology throughput and scalability, while maintaining decentralization and high levels of security. The invention leverages small committees of fixed sizes, called “Clans,” threshold cryptography, and logical virtual districts, called “Tribes,” in order to deterministically random sample disparate nodes for sentiment analysis on a transactions validity, thereby only requiring a relatively small subset of nodes to validate any particular transaction or batch of transactions thus enabling much greater concurrency and parallel processing compared to other more linearized consensus algorithms, while maintaining high security.

    Abstract: A distributed oracle agreement system and method thereof includes obtaining, by a first oracle node and a second oracle node of a consensus network, a first set and second set of data points from a data source that is external to the consensus network having a plurality of nodes. The method further includes computing a first median of the first set of data points and a second median of the second set of data points. The method includes forming, by an aggregator node, a cluster of data points from the sets of data points with the cluster contains data points within a predetermined distance. The method includes proposing the cluster to the plurality of nodes such that a vote on the cluster is performed. The method includes generating a quorum certificate message in response to the vote. The method includes committing the cluster to a block of the consensus network.

The “Time Card” hardware extension that contains an atomic clock and a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver, which is an electronic device that receives and digitally processes signals from a navigation satellite constellation in order to derive highly accurate time. The Time Card is configured to communicate with a satellite using the GNSS receiver to coordinate time with the plurality of nodes. The plurality of nodes configured to operate according to a consensus algorithm operating on a block schedule.
