  • Patent number: 11987553
Abstract: Impurities such as sulfur dioxide (SO2) are removed from trifluoroacetyl chloride (TFAC) through distillation, adsorption, or a combination thereof, and/or including the formation of an azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition including effective amounts of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and trifluoroacetyl chloride (TFAC). The trifluoroacetyl chloride (TFAC) thus purified may then be used in the manufacture of trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I). Also disclosed are azeotropes and azeotrope like compositions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and trifluoroacetyl chloride (TFAC).

  • Patent number: 11981349
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to behavior planning for autonomous vehicles. The technology described herein selects a preferred trajectory for an autonomous vehicle based on an evaluation of multiple hypothetical trajectories by different components within a planning system. The various components provide an optimization score for each trajectory according to the priorities of the component and scores from multiple components may form a final optimization score. This scoring system allows the competing priorities (e.g., comfort, minimal travel time, fuel economy) of different components to be considered together. In examples, the trajectory with the best combined score may be selected for implementation. As such, an iterative approach that evaluates various factors may be used to identify an optimal or preferred trajectory for an autonomous vehicle when navigating an environment.

  • Patent number: 11969329
Abstract: A “dry” packaging in which a prosthetic heart valve is packaged within a container with hydrogel that can be provided in many forms. Certain embodiments include hydrogel that is preloaded with glycerol or the like. The hydrogel regulates the humidity within the container through a diffusion-driven mechanism if a gradient of humidity between the inside and the outside of the hydrogel exists. Humidity regulation is important to prevent the tissue of the valve structure from drying out. When the partially-hydrated hydrogel is present within container, which is saturated with air of a predefined humidity, the water molecules from the air will be absorbed by the hydrogel if the air humidity is high (i.e. when the thermodynamics favor hydrogel hydration) or vice versa. Various embodiments are configured to also house at least a portion of a delivery device for delivering the prosthetic heart valve.

  • Patent number: 11967238
Abstract: A vehicle detection system warns snowmobilers of other approaching vehicles with potential risk of collision. To better prevent accidents, the system calculates collision risks and warns the rider based on level of risk. When riding in groups, a member can press a stop request button to ask the group to slow down. When a member exits the group, everyone in the group will receive a message, alerts or indication with the update. The vehicle detection system utilizes Bluetooth® low energy (BLE), LoRaWAN® technologies and/or global positioning system technologies and is designed to detect other devices in the region and use acquired information to calculate proximity and risk of collision.

  • Patent number: 11965956
Abstract: Techniques are discussed for determining reflected returns in radar sensor data. In some instances, pairs of radar returns may be compared to one another. For example, a reflection point may be determined from a first position of a first radar return and a second position of a second radar return. Additional data, e.g., sensor data and/or map data, may be used to determine the presence of objects in the environment. The first return or the second return may be a reflected return if an object is disposed at the reflection point. In some instances, a vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle, may be controlled at the exclusion of information from reflected returns.

  • Patent number: 11935533
Abstract: Techniques are described for maintaining contextual data to support content-related actions. In an example, a system stories second content at a source. The source is associated with first content. The system sends, to a device, an object that indicates the first content. From the device at a first time, the system receives first data indicating a first request for the second content and including source information that indicates the source. From the device at a second time, the system receives second data indicating a second request for the second content, the second data including the source information, the first data and the second data received at a frequency indicated by the object. The system determines that the requests are associated with the first content based on the source information included in the received data, and stores third data indicating a presentation of the first content by the device.
