Abstract: Techniques are described for using computing devices to perform automated operations for using generated building information to further generate and present visual data enhancements on images that are captured by and displayed on a mobile device in the building (e.g., concurrent with capture of the images by a camera of the mobile device, such as in a real-time or near-real-time manner with respect to image capture), such as using descriptive information about a building that is generated from analysis of acquired building images and optionally other building information (e.g., floor plans), and such as to improve navigation of the building (e.g., for autonomous vehicles) and provide other functionality as the mobile device moves through the building. The descriptive building information may include structural elements and other objects identified in the building and other determined attributes of the building, and automatically generated textual descriptions of the objects and other attributes.

Abstract: Techniques are described for using computing devices to perform automated operations related to providing visual information of multiple types in an integrated manner about a building or other defined area. The techniques may include generating and presenting a GUI (graphical user interface) on a client device that includes a computer model of the building’s interior with one or more first types of information (e.g., in a first pane of the GUI), and simultaneously presenting other types of related information about the building interior (e.g., in additional separate GUI pane(s)) that is coordinated with the first type(s) of information being currently displayed. The computer model may be a 3D (three-dimensional) or 2.5D representation generated after the house is built and showing the actual house’s interior (e.g., walls, furniture, etc.), and may be displayed to a user of a client computing device in a displayed GUI with various user-selectable controls.

Abstract: Technologies for selecting a representative subset of images from a set of images, the selecting based at least in part on rating the images in the set based on task, Image, and/or adjacent information. An Indication of the task may be embodied in a query provided by a user. The task may indicate the user's intended use of the subset of images. The set of images may be grouped into one or more clusters that are based on technical attributes of the images in the set, and/or technical attributes indicated by the task. Adjacent information may be obtained from sources that are generally unrelated or indirectly related to the images in the set.

Abstract: A bagel filling kit includes a plurality of hollow tubular members, and a plurality of plunger members insertable into respective ones of the tubular members. The tubular members may be preloaded with respective charges of flowable comestible materials. Optionally, the plunger members are partially inserted into respective tubular members. Where the tubular members are preloaded, the user need only select a tubular member with a desired filling, insert a nozzle end of the tubular member into a hole in a bagel, where the hole communicates with a chamber inside the bagel, and push the plunger to thereby eject the filling material into the bagel.

Abstract: A machine for making a food product includes a cooking apparatus for cooking an aliquot of dough disposed in an elongate straight shape about a straight cooking member made of a material which has a chemical composition essentially impervious to cooking temperatures. The machine also incorporates a mechanism for extracting the cooking member from the cooked dough, thereby creating a chamber in the cooked dough. This mechanism has a contact member which is disposable in engagement with an end of the cooking member, a holder disposable in contact with the cooked dough for restraining the cooked dough, and a motive component operatively connected to at least one of the holder and the contact member for moving the one of the holder and the gripper relative to the other to remove the cooking member from cooked dough.

The dough is cooked, e.g., boiled or baked, at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined period. The cooking member is maintained in the dough during the cooking thereof. After the cooking of the dough at the predetermined temperature for the predetermined period, the cooking member is removed from the cooked dough, thereby creating a chamber in the cooked dough.
