Abstract: An information providing system includes an onboard device and a server configured to transmit and receive information to and from the onboard device. The onboard device includes: one or more first processors configured to acquire a current position and an output mode and to transmit the acquired current position and the acquired output mode to the server; and an output interface configured to output power source station recommendation information received. The server includes: one or more memories configured to store power source station information including position information of a power source station and a power source price detected from a captured image of the power source station; and one or more second processors configured to prioritize power source stations located within a predetermined range from the current position based on the output mode and to provide power source station information of the prioritized power source stations to the onboard device.

Abstract: An information providing system includes a server and an onboard device configured to transmit and receive information to and from the server. The onboard device includes an imaging unit configured to capture an image around a vehicle and a first transmission unit configured to transmit position information and captured image data to the server. The server includes a removal state information generating unit configured to generate removal state information including a predicted time which is required to remove the road obstacle based on the captured image data and a second transmission unit configured to transmit the removal state information. The removal state information which is transmitted from the server is output in another onboard device.

The onboard device includes: a condition setting unit configured to acquire a destination and an output mode and to transmit the acquired destination and the acquired output mode to the server; and an output unit configured to output parking lot recommendation information which is received from the server. The server includes: a storage unit configured to store parking lot information including position information of parking lots and parking fees which are detected from a captured image of the parking lots; and an information providing unit configured to prioritize parking lots which are located within a predetermined range from the destination based on the output mode and to provide the parking lot information of the prioritized parking lots as the parking lot recommendation information to the onboard device.
