Abstract: A medical implant has a center axis and includes first and second flexible waved strands disposed around the center axis. The second flexible waved strand is in spatial communication with the first flexible waved strand to form a plurality of first unit shapes and a plurality of second unit shapes. Therein, the first unit shapes and the second unit shapes are staggered around the center axis. The first unit shapes are coupled to the second unit shapes to cause the first and second flexible waved strands to move substantially along the center axis. The first and second flexible waved strands together define a self-anchoring configuration in a radial direction perpendicular to the center axis so that a ratio of a von Mises stress to an axial displacement of the medical implant during an implant compression of the medical implant is greater than 0.1 and less than 30.

Abstract: The present invention provides a quick extraction kit adapted to a procedure of detecting pesticide residues in agricultural products and a method of obtaining a primary test liquid from an agricultural sample by the quick extraction kit. The quick extraction kit comprises a pipe, a first powder mixture layer and a second powder mixture layer. The method of taking primary test liquid is performed as follows. First, obtaining fragments of the agricultural sample. Second, adding an extraction solvent into the fragments of the agricultural sample to obtain a sample solution. Third, adding the sample solution into the pipe. Finally, driving the sample solution to export from the pipe to become the primary test liquid. The quick extraction kit and the method solve the problem of being unable to quickly obtain the result of detecting pesticide residues.

Abstract: An external bone fixing member includes an external reconstruction plate to replace the conventional large external support frame to reduce the volume of the external fixing member and the external bone fixing member is cooperated with a screw which is angle adjustable so as to meet requirements of fixation of the fractured bones (limb bones) at different positions or comminuted fractures. The use of the screw is further cooperated with the reconstruction plate to reinforce the stability of the connection between the reconstruction plate and the screw to prevent the screw from withdrawing, moving, angle changing or movement of the reconstruction plate.
