A first body part (1) of the traffic sign, most suitably a vertical post is fixedly installed and has, adapted as an extension by a bearing (11);(12), a second body part (10) which is turnable by means of a power device (7), such as an electric motor, and to said second body part (10) there are connected different plate parts (4a, 4b) directed in different directions, whereby the desired plate part of said plate parts is turnable in the direction of the traffic route by means of said power device, and that the traffic sign includes one or more cover parts (6) that cover those plate parts (4a) or (4b) that are not meant to control traffic.

Abstract: The invention comprises a safety system comprising a vehicle identifier (10) arranged to a moving vehicle or work machine (1) and capable of radio communication and, arranged in an operating connection therewith, an alarm unit (20), and a personal identifier (30, 30a) arranged in connection with the moving unit and capable of radio communication, the personal identifier (30, 30a) comprising an alerting device for warning of vehicles or work machines in the area. In addition, said alarm unit (20) comprises warning equipment for warning of units moving in the area. The vehicle identifier and/or the personal identifier of the safety system are configured to determine a distance between the vehicle identifier and the personal identifier on the basis of at least one signal transmitted between the vehicle identifier and the personal identifier.

Abstract: The invention comprises a method and a system for drawing attention to a person crossing a passageway. The system comprises at least two traffic signs in connection with each other through the passageway, at least one control device operationally connected to the traffic sign, at least one detector, at least one light source within the traffic sign, and at least one illumination device to illuminate the person. In the system, the control device is arranged to receive information from at least one detector, and based on said information determine the position of the person on said passageway or outside of it, and when the person is located outside the passageway, to activate at least one light source and/or illumination device of the traffic sign, and to send information to at least one other traffic sign to activate at least one light source and/or illumination device of said at least one other traffic sign.
