  • Patent number: 12273988
Abstract: A high-powered microwave torch provides a tunable cavity to move between a first and second mode for ignition and steady-state operation. The tuning may be accomplished by adjusting end plates of a cylindrical cavity consistent with a desired TE01? resonant mode. A swirl promoting spacer system allows cantilevered coaxial tubes to accommodate gas flow rates, and a junction between the tube assembly and a plasma nozzle provides a compression engagement resistant to temperature-expansion induced stress.

  • Patent number: 11956882
Abstract: A plasma torch employs a dielectric resonator excited at separate locations with phase shifted signals to provide more uniform current flow through the resonator. High-power operation is possible while protecting the dielectric by using a combination segregated spiral flow and linear flow cooling air at different rates. Microwave leakage from the plasma resonant chamber is contained by conductive metal chokes.

  • Publication number: 20230408333
Abstract: A portable, optical spectrometer provides an extended ignition arc allowing high-voltage components to be contained within a protective housing. Automatic plasma initiation is managed through an optical plasma detector distinguishing plasma contained in the plasma region from breakout plasma. A negative pressure vent receives gases received from the plasma and cools these gases prior to receipt by a remote vent fan through a conduit having sheathing air bleed openings around the vent mixing with other cooling air streams for the electronics. A spring-biased sample jet tube holder allows ready removal and replacement of the sample jet tube while preserving proper alignment with the plasma region.

  • Publication number: 20230311176
Abstract: A medical zero emission waste system comprising a medical waste treatment unit that couples to a medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit is onsite to the medical facility for processing medical waste generated by the medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit comprises a gasification reactor, a syngas treatment unit, and a synthetic fuel generator for treating and converting medical waste. The synthetic fuel generator comprises an electrolysis unit and a liquid fuel synthesis unit. The medical waste treatment unit converts the medical waste to synthetic fuel, gaseous fuel, oxygen, heat, slag, and other components that are useful to the medical facility or other entities. The medical waste treatment system uses carbon dioxide generated during a medical waste conversion process thereby producing substantially zero emissions and eliminating medical waste that could be harmful to the environment.

  • Publication number: 20230311086
Abstract: A zero emission waste system comprising a waste treatment unit that couples to a facility. The waste treatment unit is onsite with the facility either within the facility or local to the facility for treating waste produced by the facility. Alternatively, the waste treatment unit can be mobile that is designed to couple to the facility for waste disposal. The waste treatment unit comprises a gasification reactor, a syngas treatment unit, and a synthetic fuel generator for treating and converting waste. The synthetic fuel generator comprises an electrolysis unit and a liquid fuel synthesis unit. The waste treatment unit converts the waste to synthetic fuel, gaseous fuel, oxygen, heat, slag, and other components that are useful to the facility or other entities. The waste treatment system uses carbon dioxide generated during a waste conversion process thereby producing substantially zero emissions and eliminating waste that could be harmful to the environment.

  • Publication number: 20190168932
Abstract: A plastic cover for cans with opener for opening and re-closing manufactured of low density polyethylene consists of a cylindrical cover designed with trapezoid opening with movable opener of analogues shape which sides are spreading symmetrically toward the rim and from the edge of the cover lowers down forming the grip portion. On the opener firmly and un-separable connected to the cover on the inner side is designed the ellipsoid recess analogous to the opening of the cover. The opener abuts to the recess on the wall of the cover while the recess seals the opening and when it is closed it disables the leaking and keeping freshness and soda. On the inner side of the cover are designed concentric barriers preventing the leaking of the drink into the dirtiest channel on the can and crescent barriers preventing spreading of the liquid over the can surface.
