  • Patent number: 9329405
Abstract: Eyeglasses includes a frame, two connecting blocks, and two temples. A front end of each connecting block is pivotably connected to a side of the frame. A rear end of each connecting block includes an axle having a first positioning portion. A rear end of each temple has a hook. A front end of each temple includes a receptacle receiving one of the axles. The receptacle of each temple includes an inner periphery having a second positioning portion engaged with the first positioning portion of one of the connecting blocks, such that the temples are pivotable relative to the connecting blocks to change an angular position of each hook. The first and second positioning portions engage with each other to fix the angular position of the hook. A disengagement prevention mechanism is provided between each temple and one of the connecting blocks.

  • Publication number: 20150089739
Abstract: A cover for hiding slats of an upper bunk is disclosed. The cover may be wrapped around the head and foot slats of the upper bunk or around left and right rails of the upper bunk. The cover is tensioned with a strapping mechanism to hold the bottom side of the cover in a substantially flat configuration. Moreover, an intermediate strap may be strapped around an intermediate slat to further maintain the substantially flat configuration of the bottom side of the cover. Flaps may also be attached to the bottom side of the cover and be traversable between first and second positions to display two or more motifs. The cover serves to conceal the aesthetically displeasing slats and also to provide a protective barrier over the splinters on wooden slats.

  • Publication number: 20130104299
Abstract: Goggles include a body having a lens. A front face of the lens includes two side view sections corresponding to two eyes of a wearer and a central section corresponding to a nose of the wearer. At least one protrusion is formed on the central section and protrudes from the front face of the lens. A transparent film has a width larger than a width of the lens in a width direction. The transparent film is mounted to the front face of the lens and extends over the side view sections and the central section of the lens, with a distal end of the at least one protrusion abutting the transparent film. An actuating device is mounted to the body and coupled to the transparent film. The actuating device is operable to move the transparent film relative to the lens in the width direction.

  • Patent number: 7472990
Abstract: An assembly of a glasses frame and two legs provides a tool-free, self-assembly and most secured frame-leg attachment contributed by a three-dimensional frame-leg contact structure, which is created by a mortise-tenon contact plane, as well as a protruding piece embedded therein. The mortise-tenon contact plane is formed by a frame tenon extending from the side of a frame, and flexibly received in a corresponding leg mortise on the upper end of the leg. The frame tenon is further refined into two planes of different sizes to enhance the stability of frame-leg attachment.

  • Patent number: 7300150
Abstract: A pair of eyeglasses with a unitary appearance by having the connecting piece concealed includes three parts: a lens-seat, two connecting pieces, and two temple assemblies. The unique alignment of the three parts in assembly allows for variegated design in the temple assembly, which can also be a restraining buckle strap. The adjustable temple assemblies can be easily assembled with the lens-seat without tools, which is rotatable relative to the lens-seat via different positions in meshing between the parallel teeth of the retaining piece (extending outwards from the temple assembly), and the protruding teeth of the connecting piece, thereby permitting an optimal adjustment of an inclination angle of the temple assembly.
