  • Publication number: 20180311356
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide for compositions and methods for inhibiting pathological endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT), e.g., in endothelial cells and in a mammal. Specially, pathological EndMT can be inhibited by inhibiting CD45, either protein activity or protein expression or both, and optionally also inhibiting TGF-?. Compositions comprising a CD45 inhibitor, a CD45 inhibitor and a TGF-? inhibitor, or a CD45 inhibitor, a TGF-? inhibitor and an anti-fibrosis agent are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20130236429
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to methods, compositions and kits for the in vivo formation of vascularized new adipose tissue in a subject. Combination of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) and mesenchymal progenitor cells (MPCs) implanted in vivo in a subject work synergistically to promote the formation vascularized new adipose tissue.

  • Publication number: 20100040584
Abstract: The success of tissue engineering and therapeutic neovascularization depends on the development of a microvascular network. The present invention provides methods for promoting neovascularization in tissue engineering constructs, tissue repair, and wound healing comprising endothelial and mesenchymal progenitor cells.
