Abstract: A transport unit of an intraoral dental x-ray developing machine includes a track and upper and lower transfer drives for moving film chips through tanks of developing, fixing and rinsing solutions. Transfer grooves in the track can become clogged with debris during normal operation of the x-ray developing machine. Projections extending from transfer arms of the lower transfer drive are provided to clean the debris from the grooves.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for cleaning residue from a transport unit of an x-ray developing machine. The transport unit has inner and outer walls which form a path for multiple film chips to travel during development of the film chips. V-grooves in the walls can become clogged with residue during normal operation of the x-ray developing machine. The apparatus includes a body and a plurality of projections extending outward from the body. The projections clear the V-grooves of residue while the apparatus is inserted between the walls and moved along the path.

Abstract: A dental prophylaxis angle of the snap-on variety comprising two interlocking external parts and 2 internal parts, wherein the base for the mandrel or button formation resembling a knob which arises from the rotary bearing, known as a slinger ring or disk or annular stop, designed to receive the conventional snap-on rubber-like prophylaxis cup, has a plurality of sharp pointed projections or prongs to safely grip and stabilize the engagement of a snap-on prophylaxis cup.

Abstract: This invention relates to devices used to maintain an aseptic relationship with the patient being treated and the environment of the treatment. This invention is a pair of thin, large, transparent, overgloves with a patch of adhesive on the digit portion of the palm side of the left and right glove. The gloves come paired, with a cut out area above the wrist on the back of the hand thereby separating the back side from the palm side for ease of entry. These overgloves are disposable.

Abstract: A dental prophylaxis polishing cup of the traditional size, shape, material, and attachments, for use with a rotary dental hand piece. The inside wall of the cavity is provided with an abrasive lining of material such as silicon carbide, arranged in a network pattern, or random pattern, with a narrow, abrasive free margin at the opening edge. The prophylaxis cup is provided in different colors denoting the degree of abrasiveness found inside each different colored prophylaxis cup: blue/coarse, green/medium, grey/fine, and pink/extra-fine.
