Abstract: A loudspeaker (1) has a chassis (2). A movable cone body (3), a resilient suspension for guiding the movable cone body (3) with respect to the chassis (2) along a translation axis T, and an electric actuator (4) for driving the movable cone body (3) along the translation axis T, and a centering diaphragm (8). The centering diaphragm (8) and the movable cone body (3) are interconnected, at a distance D1 from the actuator support (7), by a bridging element (10), the bridging element (10) having a number of separate contact areas (10a) with the movable cone body (3) around the actuator support (7).

Abstract: A shallow loudspeaker provided with a chassis (2), a movable body (4), a resilient suspension for guiding the movable body with respect to the chassis along a translation axis (T), and an electric actuator (6) for driving the movable body along the translation axis. The movable body has a diaphragm structure comprising a central domeshaped diaphragm (8) and a cone-shaped diaphragm (10) concentrically arranged with respect to the dome-shaped diaphragm. The cone-shaped diaphragm has a back portion (10b) and a front portion (10f) which is wider than the back portion. Both diaphragms are attached to each other near the back portion of the cone-shaped diaphragm, the cone-shaped diaphragm enveloping the dome-shaped diaphragm.

Abstract: An electrodynamic loudspeaker comprising a chassis (2), a movable body (4) flexibly connected to the chassis and having a three-dimensional diaphragm (8) with a base part (8b) and a top part (8a) which is wider than the base part, and an electromagnetic actuator (6) for moving said body with respect to the chassis along a translation axis (10) extending between said two parts of the diaphragm. The actuator comprises a stationary actuator part (6a) secured to the chassis and a translatable actuator part (6b), which substantially extends inside the space (9) enveloped by the contours of the diaphragm and which is translatable along the translation axis with respect to the stationary actuator part and is connected to the movable body in the region of the base part of the diaphragm. The actuator parts are capable of magnetically co-operating with each other across an air gap (16).
