Abstract: A photosensitive recording material, which comprises a support bearing a layer containing at least one photosensitve organic polyhalogen compound producing free radicals upon exposure to ultraviolet and/or visible light, a dye precursor, which by the action of said free radicals is capable of forming a dye, and a thermally activatable stabilizing substance within the scope of the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein: X represents1. an aryl group including a substituted aryl group, or2. the group --OR.sup.1 in which R.sup.1 is an aryl group including a substituted aryl group,3. the group --CH.dbd.CH--R.sup.2 in which R.sup.2 is an aryl group including a substituted aryl group, or4. the group ##STR2## in which R.sup.3 stands for hydrogen, an alkyl group, or cycloalkyl group, an aryl group including a substituted aryl group and in which R.sup.4 stands for an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, or an aryl group including a substituted aryl group, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.

Abstract: A recording process including image stabilization comprising the steps of:1. image-wise exposing to active electromagnetic radiation of a recording material containing in a recording layer a dye precursor compound and at least one photosensitive organic polyhalogen compound capable of producing photoradicals and a dyestuff with said dye precursor compound when exposed with ultraviolet radiation and/or visible light, and2. heating the photoexposed recording material thereby transforming the non-decomposed polyhalogen compound into a non-photosensitive substance by reaction with at least one stabilizing substance selected from the group consisting of triphenylamine,A soft base containing an element of the group consisting of phosphorus, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, selenium, and tellurium, and an .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated compound in which at least the .alpha.

Abstract: A recording material suited for the photographic production of a conductivity pattern, wherein said material contains a recording layer applied to the surface of a support the surface resistance of which is at least 100 times as small as that of the recording layer and wherein said recording layer contains in intimate admixture:I. at least one ultraviolet radiation-sensitive organic polyhalogen compound from which photolytically halogen-containing free radicals can be separated,Ii. a photoconductive polymer containing N-vinylcarbazole units andIii. as sensitizing agent increasing the conductivity of the recording layer during its photo-exposure an acylamino compound corresponding to the following general formula:R.sub.1 -- CO -- NH -- R.sub.2wherein:R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group, andR.sub.2 represents an aromatic group.

Abstract: A photographic process wherein a visible image is formed by print-out or optical development in a recording material comprising in intimate admixture a spiropyran compound, an ultra-violet light-sensitive compound capable of producing an exposure with ultra-violet light with the spiropyran a dye salt and as sensitizing agent an organic nitrogen containing compound having a thiol group or in its tautomeric form a thione group as represented in the following tautomeric structural parts : ##EQU1## Preferred recording materials contain a spirodinaphthopyran compound, carbon tetrabromide and/or iodoform and as sensitizing agent 2-mercaptobenzthiazole in conjunction with a triaryl stibine as antifogging agent.
