Abstract: A method for providing and collecting information via crowdsourcing by means of an Internet browser, includes providing a first memory location and at least two memory sublocations liked thereto on a server. The first memory location is writable with data by a first group of users via an Internet browser the first group of users loads a description of a searchable object into the first memory of the server. The memory sublocations can be written with data by a second group of users, to provide information that applies to the searchable object.
