  • Publication number: 20210245120
Abstract: A homogenizer for liquid food includes a homogenization device having a gap formed between a seat and a forcer. A pump is configured to provide a pressure for forcing the liquid food through the gap and thereby homogenize the liquid food. The homogenizer includes an accumulator, wherein the pump is connected to the accumulator to accumulate a pressure in the accumulator. A cylinder arrangement is connected to the accumulator and to the homogenization device. The cylinder arrangement includes a piston that is configured to push a volume of the liquid food through the gap. A valve is arranged to release pressure accumulated in the accumulator, such that the released pressure actuates the piston to push the volume of the liquid food through the gap.

  • Publication number: 20160038891
Abstract: The invention relates to a homogenizing valve which may comprise two or more pressurized, movable valve cones, two or more valve seats, and a valve housing which surrounds the valve cones and the valve seats. The valve cones and the valve seats may be arranged such that between them are formed constrictions, which constitute homogenization gaps having a gap height. Between each individual valve cone and each individual valve seat may be formed two homogenization gaps, of which one homogenization gap may be radially arranged and one homogenization gap may be axially arranged. The homogenizing valve may be used in existing homogenizers and may acquire an effective homogenization for liquids which are processed at a lower pressure and with a large flow, such as pasteurized milk, for example.

  • Patent number: 9199208
Abstract: The invention relates to a homogenizing valve which comprises two or more pressurized, movable valve cones, two or more valve seats, and a valve housing which surrounds the valve cones and the valve seats. The valve cones and the valve seats are arranged such that between them are formed constrictions, which constitute homogenization gaps having a gap height h. Between each individual valve cone and each individual valve seat are formed two homogenization gaps, of which one homogenization gap is radially arranged and one homogenization gap is axially arranged. The homogenizing valve is intended for use in existing homogenizers and is especially produced to be able to acquire an effective homogenization for liquids which are processed at a lower pressure and with a large flow, such as pasteurized milk, for example.

  • Publication number: 20150173322
Abstract: A homogenizer valve includes two or more pressurized, movable valve cones, two or more valve seats and a valve housing which surrounds the valve cones and the valve seats. The valve cones and the valve seats are disposed so that throttles occur between them, which constitute homogenization gaps, which have a gap height h. The homogenization gaps are disposed at an angle in relation to the horizontal plane. The homogenizer valve is intended to be used in existing homogenizers and has been particularly produced to be able to obtain an efficient homogenization for liquids which are processed at a lower pressure and with a greater flow, such as, for example, pasteurized milk.
