    Abstract: A sealing element for a vehicle cap is disclosed. The sealing element comprises a body portion, a flange attached to the body portion in a longitudinal orientation, and an angle. The flange is configured to move between an open and closed position. The flange is compressed as it moves from the open position to the closed position. The sealing element is comprised of a low density rubber and creates an airtight and watertight seal between the vehicle cap and the truck bed.
