    Abstract: A two-dimensional navigation module of a cursor controller includes a top plate, a first rod, a sliding roller sleeved at the first rod, and a first OTS sensor. The top plate has an elongated groove recessed thereon. The first rod is arranged in the groove. Two opposite ends of the first rod are fastened to the top plate. The sliding roller is movable along the first rod between a first position and a second position, and the sliding roller is spinable along the first rod in a range of 0˜360 degrees. When the sliding roller is moved, a center segment of the first rod keeps touching the sliding roller. The first OTS sensor is arranged under the center segment of the first rod for detecting at least one of a moving distance and a spinning angle of the sliding roller.

    Abstract: A pen-typed navigation device includes a housing, a pen tip, a pressure detecting unit, and a navigation module having an optical large depth of field detecting unit and a processing unit. The pen tip is disposed on the housing. The pressure detecting unit is disposed on the pen tip to detect a pressure of the pen tip applied to a working plane. The optical large depth of field detecting unit is disposed by the pen tip and has a specific range about the depth of field, and can detect movement information of the pen tip relative to the working plane while a distance between the pen tip and the working plane is smaller than the foresaid specific range. The processing unit is adapted to acquire navigation information generated by the pen tip according to detection result of the pressure detecting unit and the optical large depth of field detecting unit.

    Abstract: Provided herein are an interactive system and a method thereof for controlling multiple remote devices. The method is executed by a portable navigation device to establish an interactive system including the portable navigation device, a host device and at least one controlled device. The portable navigation device, the host device and the least one controlled device communicate with one another according to at least one protocol. The host device receives an interactive interface provided by the least one controlled device. A cursor with respect to the host device is controlled by the portable navigation device. The least one controlled device corresponding to the interactive interface is controlled according to a motion of the cursor on the interactive interface to execute a function corresponding to the motion. Accordingly, the present invention achieves controlling the least one controlled device or transmitting data using the portable navigation device and the host device.

The optical navigation module includes a light-emitting unit. The light-emitting unit provides a light beam to irradiate a surface of a displacement generating unit. The light beam has a low divergence angle to reduce scattering. The optical navigation chip includes a sensing array and a displacement calculating unit. The sensing array is disposed corresponding to the surface. The sensing array receives a reflected light beam which the surface reflects, and captures an image once every capturing interval based upon the reflected light beam. The displacement calculating unit calculates a relative displacement between the optical navigation chip and the surface according to the images.
