Abstract: A vehicle seat apparatus includes: a receiving device provided on a seat of a vehicle, where an auxiliary battery and a portable electronic device are received in the receiving device, and a controller that controls power transmission between the auxiliary battery received in the receiving device and a convenience device of the seat. The receiving device is provided on a back board of the seat, and the auxiliary battery and the portable electronic device may be received in the receiving device or taken from the receiving device. During charging, the auxiliary battery is charged with power of a vehicle power supply or the portable electronic device is wirelessly charged with power of the auxiliary battery in normal times, and the power of the auxiliary battery may be supplied to the convenience device of the seat in an emergency.

Abstract: A lobamide compound according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is represented by Formula 1. The lobamide compound has excellent PTP-1B inhibitory activity that is far higher than that of conventional lobaric acid derivatives and which can be orally administered, and thus is very effective in the prevention or treatment of diabetes or obesity through oral administration.

In the method according to an aspect, energy generated from a medical laser beam may be selectively transferred to a specific treatment area, which may be implemented in one device. Therefore, the method may contribute to improving the efficacy of laser treatment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an exopolysaccharide derived from Pseudoalteromonas sp. strain CY01 (KCTC 12867BP) which is a novel strain living in the polar regions, and to a composition for cryoprotection of cells, which contains the exopolysaccharide. The exopolysaccharide of the present invention has an excellent ability to cryoprotect cells, and shows no cytotoxicity. Thus, the inventive exopolysaccharide can substitute for conventional cryoprotective agents that show cytotoxicity when used at high concentrations.
