  • Publication number: 20060187150
Abstract: A plasma display panel employs a voltage circuit having an input and an output, the voltage circuit configured for supplying a negative voltage for an electrode. The plasma display panel also employs a power supply that has a positive terminal and a negative terminal, where the negative terminal is connected to the input of the voltage circuit. The power supply is otherwise configured relative to the voltage circuit such that the voltage difference between the output and the input of the voltage circuit is fixed as a function of the power supply. By fixing this voltage difference, parasitic capacitance is minimized, power consumption and calorific value are reduced, and the plasma display panel operates in a more stable manner.

  • Publication number: 20060119547
Abstract: The present invention relates to an energy recovery circuit and energy recovering method using the same that is capable of reducing the number of components. An energy recovery circuit according to the present invention includes: a panel capacitor formed equivalently in a scan electrode and a sustain electrode; a scan electrode driver installed at a side of the scan electrode of the panel capacitor to supply a sustaining pulse to the side of the scan electrode; a sustain electrode driver installed at a side of the sustain electrode of the panel capacitor to supply the sustaining pulse to the side of the sustain electrode; one source capacitor commonly connected to the scan electrode driver and the sustain electrode driver to supply a voltage to the panel capacitor and to charge with a voltage discharged in the panel capacitor; and a path providing part to a current path of both the panel capacitor and the source capacitor when a voltage is supplied from the panel capacitor to the source capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20050225513
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus and method of driving the same, wherein erroneous discharge, miss-discharge and abnormal discharge are prevented, dark room contrast is increased, and operational margin is widened. According to the plasma display apparatus and driving method thereof, a negative voltage is applied to a first electrode, and a positive voltage is applied to a second electrode, whereby wall charges of a positive polarity are accumulated on the first electrode and wall charges of a negative polarity are accumulated on the second electrode, within discharge cells during a pre-reset period. The discharge cells are then initialized using the wall charge distribution of the discharge cells during a reset period.

  • Publication number: 20050042804
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for fabricating Surface Acoustic Wave filter packages using a package sheet having an outline pattern and anti-bur holes and a package sheet used therein. In the package sheet for a Surface Acoustic Wave filter package, an outline pattern is formed along outer peripheries of predetermined areas to be mounted with a plurality of SAW filter chips. The outline pattern is contacted with a metal shield layer formed on the SAW filter chips and a predetermined region of the package sheet. Circular anti-bur holes cover the corners of the areas to be mounted with the SAW filter chips and are intersected by cutting lines functioning as reference lines for cutting the sheet into a plurality of SAW filter packages.
