  • Publication number: 20120284654
Abstract: A method and apparatus for returning to a home screen in a portable terminal with a multi-software platform configured to a sub software platform on a main software platform are provided. The method includes sensing a home button signal corresponding to input received through a user input unit, and returning, upon sensing the home button signal, a screen of the portable terminal to a home screen of the sub software platform when the sub software platform is being used and the home screen of the sub software platform is not being displayed at a time the input is received.

  • Patent number: 8207666
Abstract: An organic electroluminescent device is provided which includes a colored polarizer to reduce power consumption requirements for desired levels of brightness. The organic electroluminescent device includes a substrate, an anode electrode layer, an organic layer, a cathode electrode layer, and a colored polarizer provided on a surface of the substrate opposite a surface of the substrate on which the anode electrode layer is formed such that the colored polarizer polarizes light incident from the outside. The colored polarizer increases transmission of a given color of light based on the color(s) included in the polarizer to thereby decrease total current required by the organic electroluminescent device.

  • Patent number: 7728796
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to an organic electroluminescent device using different driving voltages according to sub-pixels. The organic electroluminescent device may include a panel, a driving voltage circuit and a driver. The panel may have a plurality of sub-pixels. The driving voltage circuit may generate a plurality of driving voltages. The driver may drive the sub-pixels by using the generated driving voltages. The organic electroluminescent device may use driving voltages corresponding to sub-pixels, and power consumption may be reduced.
