Abstract: The locking mechanism is inserted between two contactor banks and comprises two sliding pieces connected to a pair of tillable cams, which are biased towards an inoperative position by a spring. The cams are connected to the sliding pieces themselves by pivot emerging from each one of them. The pivot is located in a transversal throat of the sliding pieces themselves. When one of these pieces moves, the respective cam tilts and comes in between and blocks the other one, preventing the respective sliding piece associated to the latter from being able to move. Thus, the pulsator of the other contactor bank will not be able to be operated.

Abstract: A pneumatic timer applicable to electric contactors and has bellows whose air intake is controlled by a limited duct with a variable section and length. The limited duct is established by a radial hole made in flange immobilized with regard to the adjustment knob, that communicates hole of the base or core of the bellows, with the air intake hole made in the core of the adjustment knob, the flange preferably having a transversal or peripheral groove as of the radial hole. When the adjustment knob is placed in a certain position, the timing is governed in terms of the limited duct implied by the length of the transversal groove, which may have a section gradually increasing towards the radial hole. The air duct can also be gauged with the thread of a screw whose head forms a variable annular duct with the wall of an axial truncated-cone hole provided in the core.

Abstract: The first, second and third switches within the first, second and third phases of a three phase motor controller are selectively operated to control the both the starting torque and the stopping torque of the motor. A preselected time delay before operating the switches within the individual phases allows the starting torque and the stopping torque to be controlled over a wide range of operation.

Abstract: It can be coupled to a control panel (1) in order to permit the fastening of a pushbutton or the like in a hole with a larger diameter than that of the pushbutton which comprises a cylindric body (2) with a rear extension (3) with a smaller diameter, threaded to receive a fastening nut (4.) It consists of a ring (5) provided inside with a front shoulder (6) similar to the rear shoulder (7) provided between the cylindric body (2) and the rear extension (3) of the pushbutton. The back of the ring (5) includes a tubular portion (10) that fits adjustably between the rear extension (3) of the pushbutton and the hole (11) of the control panel (1.)In another embodiment the cylindric body (2) is adapted to the control panel (1) by means of a base made up of a prismatic body (20), with a circular opening of the same diameter as the body (2) of the pushbutton.
