Abstract: A rolling paper structure and method for making a hand rolled smoking article wherein said rolling paper structure is filled with a filler material and rolled to form a smoking structure such as a cigarette. The rolling paper structure comprises detachable sections and it is configured to create smoking structure with an integrated mouthpiece.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of treating anemia especially in an EPO resistant hemodialysis patient, comprising hemodialysis with a high cut-off dialysis membrane, wherein the hemodialysis membrane is characterized in that it has a molecular weight cut-off in water, based on dextran sieving coefficients, of between 90 and 200 kD and a molecular weight retention onset in water, based on dextran sieving coefficients, of between 10 and 20 kD, and a ?MW of between 90 and 170 kD. The invention further relates to a high cut-off hemodialysis membrane for the treatment of anemia in hemodialysis patients, especially EPO resistant hemodialysis patients.

Abstract: A needle assembly for use in a knitting machine, particularly circular and flat knitting machines having one or more working systems and one or two working needle beds, the needle comprising a casing body of elongated rectangular form with a groove in its upper two-thirds portion, the head of the needle forming a hook for picking up the thread and the body having a cross-section of elongated U-shape at the groove. In the interior of the groove there is slidably arranged a plate likewise of rectangular and elongated form and provided with a lug projecting laterally from the body of the needle. The needle is provided at its lower portion with a lug for co-operation in the course of its passage on the cams of the working system of the machine during its needle raising and lowering action, the plate likewise co-operating by its lug with positioning stops of the working system of the machine in respect of the opening and closing, as necessary, of the hook of the needle.

Abstract: There is disclosed a process for the preparation of 1,3,4-trimethyl-2-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine of formula ##STR1## which comprises subjecting 1,3,4-trimethyl-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine of formula ##STR2## to a Stevens rearrangement in the presence of a solution of phenyl-lithium in ether under reflux of the reaction mixture, and, if desired, converting the compound of formula I produced into an addition salt thereof with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid, for example hydrochloric acid, including a pharmaceutical composition utilizing as an active ingredient 1,3,4-trimethyl-2-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine.
