  • Publication number: 20220130220
Abstract: A method is provided for monitoring status of subjects in an area for a system including a first data set identifying locations of subjects, a second data set identifying events in the area, and a third data set identifying whether accounts matched to the subjects exist. The method includes executing a graphical user interface including a map of at least part of the area including avatars identifying locations of subjects located on the map, and representing respective statuses assigned to the subjects located on the map, the statuses being assigned to the subjects based on one or more of the first, second and third data sets, wherein the assigning of the respective statuses to the subjects are assigned by utilizing at least one of the first, second and third data sets to determine that at least one subject of the subjects is a high risk of loss subject.

  • Patent number: 11270260
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for tracking puts and takes of inventory items by subjects in an area of real space. A plurality of cameras with overlapping fields of view produce respective sequences of images of corresponding fields of view in the real space. In one embodiment, the system includes first image processors, including subject image recognition engines, receiving corresponding sequences of images from the plurality of cameras. The first image processors process images to identify subjects represented in the images in the corresponding sequences of images. The system includes second image processors, including background image recognition engines, receiving corresponding sequences of images from the plurality of cameras. The second image processors mask the identified subjects to generate masked images. Following this, the second image processors process the masked images to identify and classify background changes represented in the images in the corresponding sequences of images.

  • Patent number: 10133933
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for tracking puts and takes of inventory items by subjects in an area of real space. A plurality of cameras with overlapping fields of view produce respective sequences of images of corresponding fields of view in the real space. A processing system is coupled to the system. In one embodiment, the processing system comprises image recognition engines receiving corresponding sequences of images from the plurality of cameras. The image recognition engines process the images in the corresponding sequences to identify subjects represented in the images and generate classifications of the identified subjects. The system processes the classifications of identified subjects for sets of images in the sequences of images to detect takes and puts of inventory items on shelves by identified subjects.

  • Patent number: 8323324
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for heating or cooling a patient's whole body or a selected portion of a patient's body. In one embodiment, the method begins by inserting a catheter having a dual balloon system into the large intestine of a patient. A heated or chilled liquid is conducted through a supply tube of the catheter and into the inner balloon. The liquid is evacuated from the inner balloon through a return lumen of the catheter. The outer balloon conducts heat transfer between the patient's tissues and the inner balloon, and further provides a degree of safety against rupture of the inner balloon.

  • Patent number: 8163000
Abstract: A guidable catheter for heating or cooling fluid in a feeding vessel in a vasculature of a patient includes a heat transfer element having exterior surface irregularities to create turbulence in a surrounding fluid. A supply catheter delivers a working fluid to an interior of the heat transfer element, and a return catheter returns a working fluid from the interior of the heat transfer element. A guidewire tube is provided adjacent one of the supply catheter or the return catheter and runs substantially parallel to the axis of the guidable catheter to receive a guidewire disposed within the guidewire tube. A temperature-monitoring device is disposed at the distal tip of the guidewire. Feedback is provided to control the temperature of a source of working fluid.

  • Patent number: 8038703
Abstract: An endovascular heat transfer device which can have a smooth exterior surface, or a surface with ridges and grooves. The device can have a plurality of elongated, articulated segments, with each having such a surface. A flexible joint connects adjacent elongated, articulated segments. The flexible joints can be bellows or flexible tubes. An inner lumen is disposed within the heat transfer segments. The inner lumen is capable of transporting a pressurized working fluid to a distal end of the heat transfer element.

  • Patent number: 7651518
Abstract: A catheter system and method are provided which change the temperature of a fluid, such as blood, by heat transfer. Selective cooling or heating of an organ may be performed by changing the temperature of the blood feeding the organ. The catheter system includes an inlet lumen and an outlet lumen structured and arranged to carry a working fluid having a temperature different from the adjacent blood. The outlet lumen is configured to induce turbulence in the adjacent fluid passing adjacent the outlet lumen.
