Abstract: An example method includes receiving merchandise information, and in response, initiating a virtual try-on application running on the computing device to simulate physical application of a real-world product corresponding to the merchandise information onto a portion of a user depicted in visual media. Another example method includes in response to receiving the merchandise information, retrieving an interactive graphical representation of information related to the merchandise information, providing for display an AR graphic overlaid onto a live view within a GUI of the computing device, for a topic of a selected item of the AR graphic, accessing via an AI engine data sources to identify retail information that is both (i) related to the merchandise information and (ii) determined to be related to information in a user profile, and dynamically modifying content and animation of the AR graphic to customize the AR graphic for the user.

Abstract: An example computer-implemented method for analyzing skin of a user comprises requesting, via a graphical user interface (GUI), visual media including a face of the user, processing the visual media to generate information for each of a plurality of skin conditions of the face of the user and the information comprises a score per each of a plurality of zones of the face of the user per each of the plurality of skin conditions of the face of the user, mapping the score to a severity level associated with the plurality of skin conditions, and for each of the plurality of skin conditions, the GUI overlaying computer graphics at locations onto the visual media corresponding to the plurality of zones of the face of the user. The computer graphics are depicted with a color associated with the severity level for the skin condition at each of the locations.

Abstract: A user is visually assisted when fixing an implant with a locking element in, or on, a bone. The location of a guide instrument for guiding the locking element relative to the implant is set by a target apparatus. The implant can be rotated and/or positioned by moving the target apparatus. The guide instrument carries at least one x-ray marker. An x-ray device records an x-ray image of the target region of the locking element and the x-ray marker. The orientation and position of a projected straight line, which forms a projection of a longitudinal axis of the guide instrument in the image plane, is determined from the position and/or form of the image of the x-ray marker. A superposed illustration is calculated of the x-ray image with a graphical element indicating the orientation and position of the projected straight line and the superposed illustration is output on a display.
