Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling users to pause interactive content, such as streamed exercise classes, and return to the classes without compromising their class performance statistics or metrics are described. For example, when a user decides to pause (e.g., they have to quickly handle something), they may have their rank removed from a leaderboard, with the leaderboard passing the ranking to the next user of the activity, while the user is still placed on the leaderboard according to an approximated position or ranking.
