Abstract: A transaction system is disclosed comprising a plurality of merchant devices, a plurality of customer devices and a central payment system, whereby any of the customers can conduct financial transactions with any of the merchants by means of, after an initial registration, entry of a unique ID associated with the merchant, password, payment amount and the system recognition of the customer's mobile phone number CLI. The system is particularly useful for enabling small value merchant or merchants to easily conduct transactions face to face with customers.
