  • Publication number: 20250130745
Abstract: A first authorization code on a consumable item for a printing device is optically scanned. A second authorization code on the consumable item is electrically read by the printing device upon the insertion of the consumable item into the printing device. In response to determining that the first and second authorization codes match, the printing device is authorized to use the consumable item for printing.

  • Publication number: 20240241676
Abstract: A consumable item of a printing device is authenticated based on analog values of operational parameters of the printing device measured during usage of the consumable item within the printing device. An action is performed based on whether authentication of the consumable item of the printing device was successful or not.

  • Publication number: 20220297074
Abstract: A print material container comprising a body to hold print material, a housing, and a detecting member. The housing being coupled to the body and including a movable mass to move in the housing when a shaking force is applied to the print material container. The detecting member to detect the shaking force and to signal a feedback of the shaking force relative to a shaking force threshold.

  • Patent number: 11422522
Abstract: An integrated wearable energy generation and annunciation system is presented. The system includes a wearable item. The system also includes a plurality of solar panels integral with the wearable item and positionable on the wearable item. The system includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) panels integral with the wearable item and positionable on the wearable item. The system includes a plurality of batteries configured to receive power from the solar panels and to power LED panels and system components. The system also includes control circuitry arranged to interface the solar panels, the LED panels, system components, and the batteries. The system also includes a control platform structured to provide control functions for the system to generate power from the plurality of solar panels, to charge the batteries, to power and display data on the LED panels, and to coordinate functionality amongst system components.
