Abstract: A carbon capture enabled system and method for generating electric power and/or fuel from methane containing sources using oxygen transport membranes by first converting the methane containing feed gas into a high pressure synthesis gas. Then, in one configuration the synthesis gas is combusted in oxy-combustion mode in oxygen transport membranes based boiler reactor operating at a pressure at least twice that of ambient pressure and the heat generated heats steam in thermally coupled steam generation tubes within the boiler reactor; the steam is expanded in steam turbine to generate power; and the carbon dioxide rich effluent leaving the boiler reactor is processed to isolate carbon. In another configuration the synthesis gas is further treated in a gas conditioning system configured for carbon capture in a pre-combustion mode using water gas shift reactors and acid gas removal units to produce hydrogen or hydrogen-rich fuel gas that fuels an integrated gas turbine and steam turbine system to generate power.

Abstract: An elastomeric material, a color filter substrate and a liquid crystal panel are disclosed. The elastomeric material is prepared by subjecting a mixture of a siloxane side-chain liquid crystal elastomer, a polymerizable liquid crystalline monomer and a photoinitiator to UV irradiation to induce polymerization. The color filter substrate comprises a sealant and a pixel area, with a retaining ring disposed therebetween, wherein the retaining ring is prepared from the siloxane side-chain liquid crystal elastomer or the elastomeric material. The liquid crystal panel is prepared by assembling and aligning, under vacuum, an array substrate and the color filter substrate. By applying a ring of the elastomeric material having a network structure between the sealant and the pixel area according to the invention, it is possible to effectively prevent the impact of liquid crystal on the sealant during cell assembly and alignment, such that the undesirable phenomenon like penetration is minimized.

Abstract: An immunity enhancing therapeutic vaccine includes a gene vector based on recombinant adenovirus and three elements: 1) an HPV antigen including the E6 and E7 multivalent fusion proteins of HPV types 16 and 18, 2) an immunologic adjuvant protein fused with said antigen, which protein may be a heat shock protein (HSP) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and 3) an immunostimulant, which may be granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF). The vaccine is used for the treatment of human papilloma virus infections and related diseases.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, techniques are provided (e.g., a method, a system, non-transitory computer-readable medium storing code or instructions executable by one or more processors) to provide fine grained protection of resources in an access management environment. An access management service can intercept requests for resources (e.g., content in a content management system) and provide fine-grained authorization service for content management systems, such as Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server. The access management service can provide external policy management, evaluation and enforcement for content management systems. The access management service can include a plurality of plugins associated with different types of resources available through the content management systems. Integrating an access management service with content management systems provides both user and administrator efficiencies while enforcing a consistent level of access security across an enterprise system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for determining regions to be detected on a display motherboard. The method comprises acquiring a first image, acquiring detection parameters of the regions to be detected, acquiring second images which have a resolution higher than that of the first image, and correcting obtained detection parameters based on the second images. Compared with the prior art, the present invention can improve accuracy and efficiency of detection of a display motherboard.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for Application Specific Packet Filter (ASPF) of a File Transfer Protocol (FTP), including the following steps: when a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection of an FTP control channel is established, a first TCP Synchronous (TCP SYN) packet sent by a client is obtained and forwarded to an FTP server; it is detected whether a response packet from the FTP server is a TCP Synchronize-Acknowledgment (SYN+ACK) packet, and if not, the response packet is discarded; it is detected whether a response packet from the client is an ACK TCP packet, and if not, the response packet is discarded; and a data flow table is created to record and update an FTP state. A device for ASPF of a FTP is also provided. The method and device can avoid and stop the attacks from the FTP application layer, and ensure safe and reliable transmission of an FTP service.

The method comprises: a master control board switching a transmission channel to a commissioning serial port and transmitting a commissioning enabling signal to a selected service board; and after the service board receives the commissioning enabling signal, the service board switching the transmission channel to a local commissioning serial port and performing commissioning processing with the master control board. The embodiments of the invention preserve the commissioning serial ports inside single boards (i.e., service boards) for commissioning single boards respectively as well as enable the serial ports of the master control board of a core switch system to perform serial communication conveniently with CPU of any single board of the core switch system.

The method also includes identifying, based on the stored geographic positions and the current location and viewing direction of the user, a subset of POIs within a current field of view associated with the user from the set of POIs. Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for creating a classifier for predicting a personality type of users. The method includes receiving a first tag for messages, from a crowdsourcing platform. The first tag relates to personality type of users. Further, the messages, tagged with first tag are segregated into a training data and a testing data. Further, parameters associated with set of messages in the training data are determined based on type of messages. Further, classifiers are trained for a personality type. Further, a second tag for set of messages in testing data is predicted using trained classifiers for a combination of parameters. A performance of classifiers is determined by comparing the second tag and the first tag associated with set of messages in the testing data. A classifier is selected from classifiers, which is indicative of a best combination of parameters to predict personality type of users.

Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for predicting a service call for digital printing equipment from a customer are disclosed. For example, the method detects a triggering event based upon a number of detections of an event on a digital printing equipment exceeding a threshold within a predefined time period, wherein the number of detected events on the digital printing equipment exceeding the threshold within the predefined time period is indicative of an impending soft failure, calculates a probability that the customer will place the service call due to the impending soft failure within a second predefined period of time based on a fusion of a hazard model of the digital printing equipment, a customer behavior model and the number of detections of the event in response to the triggering event being detected and determines an action based upon the probability using a cost based utility function.
