  • Publication number: 20230389028
Abstract: A method of wireless communication may include transmitting an uplink slot with a first control region, a second control region, and (e.g., optionally) a data region. Each region may include time resources and frequency resources. Transmitting the uplink slot may include transmitting the first control region in an earlier part of the uplink slot and transmitting the second control region (e.g., and the data region) in a later part of the uplink slot. The first control region may include time-critical control information and the second control region may include non-time-critical control information. A receiver receiving the uplink slot may receive the first control region before receiving the data region and the second control region.

  • Publication number: 20230388948
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for indicating a sidelink configuration for synchronization signal transmission. For example, a user equipment (UE) may establish an access link with a base station or transmission/reception point. The UE may measure a plurality of beams of the access link or of a sidelink channel to generate a signal metric of the access link or of the sidelink channel. Based on the generated signal metric, the UE may identify a sidelink configuration for synchronization signal transmission within the sidelink channel. In some cases, the UE may transmit a synchronization signal via the sidelink channel based at least in part on the sidelink configuration.

  • Patent number: 11832334
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A semi-independent discontinuous reception (DRX) group configuration for a user equipment (UE) configured to communicate on at least a primary DRX group (PDG) and a secondary DRX group (SDG). The UE and a base station may implement a DRX coupling rule to ensure the PDG is in an active mode when the SDG is in an active mode. In some examples, the PDG, the SDG, or both may be configured for DRX long cycles, DRX short cycles, or both. The UE may determine active or inactive mode timers of each semi-independent DRX group. In some cases, the UE may trigger or extend an active mode of the PDG when an SDG active mode is triggered. Additionally, the UE may end an active mode of the SDG when an active mode of the PDG expires.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may identify a transport block (TB) size for a TB that is scheduled across a set of component carriers (CCs) including a first CC and a second CC. The TB may include a first code block (CB) and a second CB. The device may rate match the TB with the set of CCs. Based on the rate matching, the device may identify redundancy portions of the first CB and redundancy portions of the second CB. The device may allocate a first redundancy portion of the first CB and a first redundancy portion of the second CB to the first CC, and may allocate a second redundancy portion of the first CB and a second redundancy portion of the second CB to the second CC. The device may transmit the TB over the set of CCs based on the allocating.
