    Abstract: There is provided a method for storing data in a database comprising a first and a second memory. The method comprises reading a first page of data from the second memory, modifying at least part of the data read from said first page with the data to be stored in said database, writing the modified data to a second page of data in the first memory, and copying the second page from the first memory to the second memory. The data in the second page are sequentially ordered based upon the order in which the data were modified.
