  • Publication number: 20230321473
Abstract: Described herein are liquid fire retardant concentrate compositions comprising mixtures of ammonium phosphate fire retardants. Specifically, liquid fire retardant concentrate compositions comprising one or more of monoammonium phosphate (MAP), diammonium phosphate (DAP), and ammonium polyphosphate (APP) are described herein. The ammonium phosphate fire retardant(s) is typically suspended and/or dissolved in a liquid, typically with the fire retardant(s) incorporated into the composition in powder, or granular form. In certain aspects of the present invention, the compositions provided may exhibit one or more advantages as compared to current liquid concentrate fire retardants, including enhanced strength (i.e., a higher proportion of fire retardant component per unit volume), reduced toxicity, and/or reduced corrosion.

  • Publication number: 20220056341
Abstract: This disclosure relates to fugitive color systems and storage-stable fugitive colored liquid long-term fire retardant compositions comprising a fugitive color system. The fugitive color system comprises a fugitive color pigment. In particular, disclosed herein is the identification of fugitive color pigments exhibiting hydrophilic or diminished hydrophobic tendencies. And, in certain aspects, the fugitive color pigment is fluorescent.

  • Publication number: 20210052928
Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions comprising a super absorbent polymer (SAP) concentrate mixed with a long-term fire-retardant concentrate, prior to dilution with water, to form a mixed concentrate and methods of making such compositions. The mixed concentrate composition can be subsequently mixed with water to produce an aqueous fire-fighting solution.

  • Publication number: 20190008259
Abstract: A comb and scoop used by barbers and salons includes a comb portion for styling and cutting hair and a handle portion including a scoop configured to reach into a hair product container to reach the hair product. Hair product is provided in metal, plastic or glass jars or other containers. It is difficult to reach the hair product in the bottom of the container, especially around the bottom edge. Barbers continually use combs during cutting and might use the comb handle to reach the remaining hair product, but known comb handles are not shaped to reach into the corners. The handle portion has a straight handle end with rounded corners to remove the hair product on the container bottom and into bottom corners of the container.

  • Publication number: 20050251771
Abstract: A system for analyzing IC layouts and designs by calculating variations of a number of objects to be created on a semiconductor wafer as a result of different process conditions. The variations are analyzed to determine individual feature failures or to rank layout designs by their susceptibility to process variations. In one embodiment, the variations are represented by PV-bands having an inner edge that defines the smallest area in which an object will always print and an outer edge that defines the largest area in which an object will print under some process conditions.

  • Publication number: 20050044513
Abstract: A contrast-based resolution enhancing technology (RET) determines a distribution of contrast values for edge fragments in a design layout or portion thereof. Resolution enhancement is applied to the edge fragments in a way that increases the number of edge fragments having a contrast value that exceeds a predetermined threshold.
