  • Publication number: 20240138633
Abstract: Compositions are provided for dissolvable solid unit dose formulations that can be used with a wand apparatus to clean a toilet surface. The formulations include anionic surfactant, a carbonate or bicarbonate salt, an organic acid, and virgin soap pellets wherein a ratio of the virgin soap pellets to the surfactant is from about 0.5:1 to about 2:1, preferably about 1:1 to about 1.5:1, and most preferably about 1.2:1 to 1.3:1. Compressed compositions retain sufficient hardness to facilitate cleaning a toilet surface but are still able to have a time to breakage when submerged in toilet water of less than 5 minutes to enable easy disposal by flushing with toilet water.

  • Patent number: 11555165
Abstract: A solid cleaning composition, the composition including: one or more anionic surfactants, wherein the one or more anionic surfactants constitute 40 wt. % to 90 wt. % of the composition; a cationic biocide, wherein the cationic biocide constitute 0.0001 wt. % to 2 wt. % of the composition; and one or more humectants; wherein the one or more humectants constitute 0.03 wt. % to 35 wt. % of the compositions, the cationic biocide retaining its biocidal activity as demonstrated by a reduction of at least 1.0 log 10 in a standard hand wash test.

  • Publication number: 20180148674
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for composite solid cleansing compositions to allow user-customizable solid cleansing compositions. The apparatus comprises a solid cleansing composition that includes at least one attachment module. The attachment module facilitates assembly of solid cleansing compositions into a composite solid cleansing composition. The methods relate to a manner of assembling a composite solid cleansing composition from component solid cleansing compositions, as well as producing component solid cleansing compositions to be incorporated into a composite solid cleansing composition.

  • Publication number: 20080153728
Abstract: Methods for formulating a cleansing composition having a desired fragrance profile are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes the step of determining a quantity of filler to be included in the cleansing composition wherein the quantity of filler is about 1% to about 10% by weight of the cleaning composition (WCC). The method also includes the step of selecting a first fragrance quantity to be included in the cleansing composition. The first fragrance quantity is selected to be about 1% to about 10% less than a second fragrance quantity, expressed as a percentage by WCC, necessary to substantially achieve the desired fragrance profile if the cleansing composition comprised less than about 1% by WCC of filler.
