  • Patent number: 10336649
Abstract: A ceramic composition for coating metallic surfaces, a method and a resulting ceramic layer, which layer refers to a ceramic composition which, after deposition, is subjected to a thermal treatment to generate a ceramic layer. The resulting ceramic layer displays, among other characteristics, appropriate adhesion to the metallic surface and remains stable at temperatures between 750° C. and 950° C.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 27, 2016
Date of Patent: July 2, 2019
    Assignee: TORRECID, S.A.

  • Patent number: 9616684
Abstract: The invention relates to a direct printing method for enamelling and/or decorating on surfaces in general (ceramic, glass or metallic materials, inter alia), which are subjected to heat treatment following printing, consisting of transferring an enamel/ink, by means of the use of a device for emitting energy in the form of electromagnetic waves, preferably laser, from a carrier vehicle to the printing surface without any contact between said vehicle and the printing surface. The heat treatment, which is carried out at temperatures higher than 500° C., is used for the adherence of the enamel/ink to the substrate, producing the final ceramic and/or chromatic effect.

  • Patent number: 9512031
Abstract: A digital glaze for high grammage, without the use of anti-settling agents, referred to as digital glazes for digital inkjet printing techniques to apply high grammage, maintaining the same aesthetic and technical characteristics obtained with traditional glazes and non-digital application techniques. No anti-settling agents are used in the composition to prevent the digital glaze from being thixotropic and creating problems in the inkjet printing. The composition includes at least one medium that is liquid at ambient temperature, formed by a mixture of water and polar solvents and/or solvents of medium to low polarity, having a percentage by weight of between 20 and 70% of the total weight of the digital glaze; and at least one mixture of ceramic raw materials and/or frits as a glaze-forming material, having a percentage by weight of between 30 and 80% of the total weight of the digital glaze.

  • Publication number: 20150291841
Abstract: Digital glaze composition for ceramic supports comprising, at least one water-free solvent formed by a mixture of polar and/or non-polar or low-polarity solvents as a vehicle that is liquid at room temperature, at least one mixture of inorganic particles of frits and/or raw materials, without the use of inorganic pigment particles, as a glazing-forming material and, at least one dispersant. All prepared in such a way that the physical properties of the digital glaze such as particle size, viscosity, surface tension, sedimentation speed and sintering and softening temperatures, are suitable for achieving the necessary final base finishing quality with the required weights. The special composition of the digital glaze also allows the use thereof as ink for decoration and ink for protection.

  • Publication number: 20080134934
Abstract: The ink applicable to industrial decoration, especially for products that require a thermal treatment subsequent to the printing by means of an ink injection technique, characterised in that the composition contains a solid part made up of inorganic materials and a non-aqueous liquid part that are homogenised and because of the fact that they can support firing temperatures of between 500° C. and 1,300° C. The function of the solid part is to provide the corresponding colour, whilst the main function of the liquid part is for the inks to have appropriate characteristics to achieve a good performance of same during the ink injection decorating process.
