  • Publication number: 20100127093
Abstract: A sheath for railway track fixings, and a procedure and tools for replacing the sheath in a sleeper, the sheath being free of projections that prevent the rotation thereof and comprises a helical rabetting on an outer surface configured to house a helical projection of the sleeper and thread with respect to the helical projection, the sheath comprising an inner thread configured to house a male thread of a coach screw, wherein the helical rabetting comprises an upper part having a concave curved configuration and a lower part having a straight configuration, the sheath further comprising removable anti-rotation means to prevent a rotation movement of the sheath when it is housed in the sleeper.

  • Patent number: 7634947
Abstract: A method and a device for confirmation automatically of the state of tightness of fastenings of railroad tracks are provided, so that from a train that is traveling over a track it is possible to detect a signal from each of the fastenings which indicates if the degree of tightness of these fastenings is sufficient, or if, to the contrary, the fastening is deficient because it is either loose or damaged. For this, a device according to the invention comprises a pressure sensor element and at least one electrically conducting element connected to the pressure sensor, whereby a variation is produced of at least one electric magnitude/value proportional to the pressure of tightness present in at least one point in said fastening during the passage of a train. The invention also relates to an insulating plate for fastenings and to railroad track plant, which incorporate a sensor device object of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6231350
Abstract: This unit comprises two independent rectangular prismatic parts, fitted into each other by superposition, the top or head of the unit involving a flap cover articulated on one of its sides, which carries on its top face, a handle for activation and on the lower face, the continuity bridges. The continuity is established among the service and the couple terminals, two by two, in such a manner, that when the cover is rotated during the opening movement it carries said continuity bridges with it, simultaneously emerging from end grooves for insertion of said service and couple terminals, remaining joined to the cover and the latter, to the head of the unit by means of its hinge.

  • Patent number: 6084945
Abstract: A device for connection to telephone system modules for testing of telephone lines associated with the modules. The device includes structure formed of multiple parts fitted together, wherein a top part provides a cover providing access to telephone terminals for testing characteristics of a telephone line. The top part has a central orifice for receiving a manually operated, rotationally disposed control device, the control device engaging tabs associated with metallic parts which are disposed in a reverse symmetrical arrangement in one of the multiple parts. The tabs impart straight line movement to the metallic parts in response to rotational operation of the control device to cause the parts to engage the telephone terminals.

  • Patent number: 5931389
Abstract: The object of the present invention is constituted by an improved self-compensating dropper, for underground irrigation, which is provided at its out-put mouth (1) with a spherical valve (2), of irreversible unidirectional flow in the out-put direction, though it prevents the entrance to its interior, of earth or gravel which might obstruct it or make it unusable. The sphere (2) is retained by a central stop (6) joined to the body of the dropper by attachment lugs (5), among which there are orifices (4) in the shape of circular crown segments through which the irrigation water may flow.
