The method comprises the step of displaying a three-dimensional representation of a hierarchy of the three-dimensional modeled objects. The three-dimensional modeled objects are displayed three-dimensionally in the representation. The method further comprises the step of selecting at least one of the displayed three-dimensional modeled objects. The method further comprises the step of performing an action on the selected object. The hierarchy is edited upon the performing of the action.
